I am married have 3 children,
Gerri Anne, Anthony and Vincent. My daughter attends Molloy Nursing school, my son Anthony attends Springfield College and my son Vincent attends West Hempstead HS. My wife, Mary Etta works at Molloy College and is the Church Secretary at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.
By day, I am a Field Supervisor for TransCanada. I have been involved with football since I was 13. I attended Hicksville HS and played football, basketball and baseball.I was a three (3) year starter in football at offensive and defensive end. I graduated in 1971. I attended and graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh, where I was a four year starter on the football team. I played Defensive end and was the team’s kicker. |
I hold the school record for the longest field goal ( 50 yards ) and was named ECAC Player of the week five (5) times throughout my college career. In 1978, I started my coaching career, I was the offensive/defensive line coach at Levittown Division HS for three (3) years. In 1981, I moved to California and coached with the Boys and Girls Club of America in Pasadena.
In 1986, I moved back to New York, was married and moved to West Hempstead and began coaching with the West Hempstead Generals, the original West Hempstead football organization. My first team was the Pee Wee 6yr old team. Both of my boys also went through the Bronco program. |
